Ingredients

IN A SAUCEPAN COMBINE, AND STIR IN:

1/2 c
sugar
1 Tbsp
corn starch
1 c
water

COOK OVER A LOW FLAME, STIRRING CONSTANTLY, UNTIL THICK. REMOVE FROM THE FIRE AND STIR IN:

3 Tbsp
soft butter
1/2 tsp
grated lime rind
1 1/2 Tbsp
lime juice
1/8 tsp
salt

CHILL WELL. JUST BEFORE SERVING BEAT SAUCE WITH A WIRE WHISK.

Step-By-Step

1Use a pretty clear parfait glass to serve this in, or a small dessert bowl with a pretty shape. It's light and so elegant, for that extra special ending to a dinner party.
