I started my cooking career as a salad girl in a local seafood restaurant called the "Seafarer's Inn" in Lockport, NY. One of my jobs was to make this dressing by the gallon weekly.

Ingredients

1 c
mayonnaise
1 Tbsp
apple cider vinegar
1-2 tsp
sugar
1/4 c
heinz ketchup
2 Tbsp
sweet pickle relish
1
hard cooked egg, finely chopped

Directions Step-By-Step

In a medium bowl, blend mayonnaise with vinegar, sugar and ketchup.

Fold in the relish and egg. Cover and refrigerate.

Spoon over iceberg lettuce wedges, salad greens or sliced tomatoes. Makes about 1 3/4 cups.
