Kimmi's Notes:

Yum! I've got it made now.....

Pair this up with the breadsticks & I'll never have to leave the house....LOL!

Directions

1
DRESSING:

Blend all ingredients together & chill until ready to use. The dressing will be a white color, but will taste very similar to Olive Garden's House Dressing.

NOTE: Make this 1 day in advance, so the flavors have time to marry together.
2
SALAD:

Place bag of salad in bowl. Place red onion, black olives, banana peppers, tomatoes & croutons on top of salad. Add some freshly grated Parmesan cheese if you like & add plenty of Olive Garden Salad Dressing on top.

NOTE: You can add more or less of each ingredient depending on your preference.
3
Serve with Olive Garden Breadsticks #1 & you're all set!!!!

Is this the "real" recipe? I came across one online years ago that was right on. It used Newman's Own with the addition of other ingredients, but not many of the ones in your recipe. I have this recipe some place but can't locate it just now.

I'm not sure if it's the "real" recipe, but they say it's close. I myself have not made it yet....but thinking this week.

Let me know how it turns out. My husband and I love their salad dressing and I've been trying to find the recipe I used a long time ago. I now live in two locations (two towns parts of the year) so I guess it is in the other house.

LOL! Most of our neighbors are like that. There are only 4 of us that are year round people. I will let you know how it turns out.....I can't wait, since the closest Olive Garden to us is 2 hours away!

I hate to tell you but that is not how they make thier dressing... It is so simple... They use Wishbone italian dressing, put it in a mixing bowl, add Pasturized eggs, grated parmesan, and Ramono Cheese , whisk together on high speed and pour it into their own bottle... I know I worked there and made it every day

Wow, thanks for the tip. I'll have to try it both ways. Do you have that recipe posted Dianna?

The salad alone....I would give 5 stars. The salad dressing tasted good - but not quite like Olive Garden. But something in it made me REALLY THIRSTY!!! That's why I gave it 3 stars. I would definately make the salad agian without this dressing. If Dianna could give us the recipe that would greatly appriecated.
