Triple Dip !

I made up this recipe many years ago. It is a special treat for everyone when we are watching a movie or sporting event... or a nice afternoon snack.

My grandchildren love this! (They have never had the adult dip that I use to serve at parties).

Ingredients

DIP BASE

2 pkg
(8 ounces each) cream cheese
1 pkg
(16 ounces) sour cream

SAVORY DIP

1 tsp
garlic powder
1/2 tsp
salt
1/2 tsp
black pepper
1 Tbsp
fresh dill weed (chopped)

SWEET DIP

2 c
powdered sugar (more if you want thicker)
1 Tbsp
vanilla extract
1
orange (zest only) (fine)

ADULT DIP

use triple sec instead of vanilla

Directions Step-By-Step

DIP BASE:

Using an electric mixer, combine the sour cream and cream cheese.

Divide into two or three bowls.

SAVORY DIP:

Combine savory ingredients into either half or one third of the Dip Base. Set in refrigerator or into a serving dish.

Sweet Dip:

Combine ingreients into half or one third of the Dip Base. Refrigerate or put into a serving dish.

Adult Dip: Replace the vanilla with triple sec and mix into one third or one half of the Sweet Dip. Put in refrigerator or into a serving dish.

Serve with your favorite crackers and pretzels. (I used 2 sizes of Cheese-Its and Old Dutch Butter Spindles pretzels).
