Ingredients For garlicy bacon hummus

8 slicebacon, divided

1 - 15 oz canchickpeas (garbanzo beans)

1/3 ctahini
-
2 Tbsplemon juice
-
4 clovegarlic, minced
-
3 Tbspbacon drippings
-
1/4 cwater
- GARNISH:
-
2scallions, chopped (both greens & whites)

salt & pepper, to taste
How To Make garlicy bacon hummus

1Cook bacon in skillet over medium heat until crispy; drain on paper towels. Reserve 3 tbsp bacon drippings. Chop all into bits & reserve 3 chopped slices for garnish.

2In food processor, pulse chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic & bacon drippings until smooth.

3Add 5 slices bacon, water,1/2 scallions, salt & pepper; pulse until combined.

4Garnish with remaining bacon & scallions.
