Cream Cheese Pumpkin Dip

My sister-in-law made this many years ago and wrote down the recipe for me. I tweaked it a bit. Thought I had lost it a few years back but just came across it the other day. Can't wait to make it again.

Ingredients

8 oz
cream cheese, room temperature
3/4 c
canned pure pumpkin
3 Tbsp
sugar, white
1/2 tsp
cinnamon, ground
1/4 tsp
freshly grated nutmeg (or 1/8 tsp ground)
1/4 tsp
cloves, ground
1/2 tsp
vanilla extract (not imitation)
3/4-1 c
graham crackers, crumbled (or walnuts), optional

Step-By-Step

1Mix all ingredients (except for crackers or nuts)together in a bowl with an electric mixer at medium speed until well blended.
2Place in a serving bowl, cover and chill for about 30 minutes.
3Sprinkle top of dip with graham crackers or walnuts (optional).
4I like to serve with apple wedges.
