8 oz sour cream
1 Tbsp mayonnaise
pinch cajun seasoning
ritz crackers

I usually double this recipe because it is always such a hit at family gatherings!

 

Directions

Remove boudain from casing and crumble into microwavable bowl

Microwave about 2 minutes

Add sour cream, mayo, and seasoning

Continue heating until mixture is thoroughly heated.
Serve with Ritz crackers

I've had this at many gatherings while growing up in Beaumont and it's deelish! I'd forgotten about it and can't wait to make it. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Linda. How much is a "link" of Boudain? Can you give it in weight? I rarely see it sold out here in southern CA, but if I do find it, I want to know how much to buy. Thanks so much!

I can answer that a boudain link is roughly about 6 inches in length and about 1-1 1/2" in diameter, similar to sausage links.

Sorry, Marsha, yes, a link is similar to sausage links...they also sell the "block" of boudain that doesnt have the casing....i just get the links because i like to go by the recipe and i want to get the measurements right
