Dorothy Lynch Macaroni Salad

Have made this for years. It is just a common recipe here in Nebraska. Very simple and delicious. Great for a picnic or tailgate as there is no mayonnaise. A link to the dressing recipe will be in the comment right after the recipe.

Ingredients

1 lb
salad pasta of your choice
1 small
onion, diced
1 small
green pepper, diced
2 stalk(s)
celery, diced
2 c
frozen peas, thawed and drained
2 c
diced ham (salami works too)
dorothy lynch salad dressing or other sweet type french dressing (recipe link to follow in comments)
salt and pepper to taste

Step-By-Step

1Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and chill with cold water. Drain well. (The cook time is for the pasta.)
2Combine all other ingredients except dressing and salt and pepper.
3Add dressing to moisten. Mix well. Chill for several hours. Adjust seasoning and stir before serving.
