Potato Salad

I discovered this recipe about 50 years ago. I get raves on it every time I serve it. It's the best potato salad that I've ever eaten.

5 c
cooked potatoes - cubed (i use the red ones)
3/4 c
mayonnaise - do not use low-fat
1/2 tsp
celery seed
3/4 tsp
mustard seed
2 Tbsp
red wine vinegar
hard boiled eggs
1/2 c
green onions and tops
2 tsp

Directions Step-By-Step

Boil potatoes until they're done.
Soak celery seed, mustard seed, and mayonnaise in red wine vinegar. Cut potatoes in cubes. Add onions, and eggs. Mix in mayonaisse mixture. Cover and put in refrigerator overnight. It will taste very salty when it's first made. But the potatoes will soak up the salt and the salad will be delicious the next day.
