Nice change to traditional macaroni salad. Always have to double the recipe and never have left overs.

This sweet and creamy salad is ideal for a casual game night or potluck. It's got a surprising flavor that's sure to be the talk of the evening!

Ingredients

16 oz
elbow macaroni, cooked
1 medium
carrot, shredded
1 large
green pepper, chopped
1 medium
red onion, chopped
2 c
mayonnaise
14 oz
sweetened condensed milk
1 c
sugar
1 c
apple cider vinegar
1 tsp
salt
1/2 tsp
pepper

Directions Step-By-Step

In large bowl combine macaroni, carrots, green pepper, and onion.

In small bowl whisk mayo, milk, sugar, vinegar, salt, pepper, until smooth.

Pour over macaroni mixture, toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

This is just my opinion. I loved this salad. After using the condensed milk which is sweetened. I saw no need for the one fup of sugar. It was plenty sweet with out it. I would taste it before adding the sugar to it. Only because I made this before. I would add a little sugar at a time. Then taste it to your liking. That is the beauty of this recipe. It can be as sweet as you want. 5 stars!!!
