Veronica's Notes:
Great side dish to have at BBQ's. Easy to make and good whether you make the dressing yourself of use shop bought dressing.
I have also added chopped cucumber and it changes it up slightly and it makes the dish go a little further. It's a hit with all the family and you can substitute wheat pasta and lo-fat dressing if you want a healthier dish.

Directions

1
Cook pasta until tender, drain and run under cold water to cool. .
2
Add balance of ingredients and mix well, use Mrs Dash & Salt & Pepper to taste

My husband doesn't like salads with mayo in them. But he loves Thousand Island dressing. Wish I had thought of using the substitution! Great idea. Can't wait to try this! Thanks for posting.

I made this as a quick and easy family dish for a hot day. It was a big hit, I made the Thousand Island #1 and put some celery and green onion in it. Then garnished it with a little sliced egg and black olives. There were 3 of us and we had to have seconds so there wasn't anything left.

This is a real shrimp salad recipe!! Can't wait to make this one because I love Thousand Island Dressing. I'll add some Old Bay Seasoning, too. This is going to be great for potlucks and family gatherings. Thanks so much for sharing.
