Green Bean Salad - Steph

This dish is out of my church cookbook and is very tasty. This dish gets even better the second day. Great dish to take to potlucks!

Ingredients

1 can(s)
french style green beans
1 can(s)
peas (small can)

celery stalks, diced
1 small
onion, diced

green pepper, diced

Directions Step-By-Step

Drain the green beans and peas.
Dice the celery, onion, and green pepper.
Marinate the above ingredients in the following mixture:
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. salad oil
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. white vinegar

Mix until sugar is dissolved. Pour over vegetables and let stand overnight. Drain 1 1/2 hours before serving.
