This recipe was given to me by my friend Jackie!! You can make it low calorie by using low fat cheese, mayonnaise and bacon bits. It is a great salad for a barbecue and serves 12 or more. I get a lot of requests for this, yum!!

Ingredients For broccoli salad

  • 5 crowns
    broccoli
  • 3 oz
    bacon bits
  • 1 small
    onion, chopped
  • 2 cups
    sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 9 oz
    mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup
    cider vinegar
  • 8 packets
    splenda

How To Make broccoli salad

    Put broccoli, bacon bits, onion and shredded cheddar cheese in large bowl
  • 2
    Make dressing: Mix mayonnaise , vinegar and Splenda in separate bowl
  • 3
    Pour dressing over broccoli mix, toss until mix is well coated
  • 4
    Refrigerate 4 hours or overnight
