I always made this for my children's birthday parties and now I make it for my grandchildren. It is beautiful, refreshing and it is loved by all. It has become a tradition for special occasions in our family. It is one of my favorites from "Angels and Friends" cookbook.

Ingredients

3oz.pkg.ea. lime,orange,lemon and cherry jello
1 1/2 c
water to ea.pkg. of jello
2 c
milk
2 pkg
envelopes unflavored gelatin
1/2 c
cold water
1 pt
sour cream
1 c
granulated sugar
2 tsp
vanilla extract

Directions Step-By-Step

Soften gelatin in 1/2C.cold water. Bring milk to boil, add sugar and dissolve; add softened gelatin and cool slightly. Add sour cream and vanilla and beat with mixer on low. Set aside to cool but keep at room temperature.

In four seperate containers dissolve each package jello in 1cup hot water then 1/2 cold water. Spray with no-stick your 9X13 glass dish. Pour in lime jello - refrigerate 1 hour or until firm. Follow with approx. 1 1/2 Cups of cream mixture-spread evenly and refrig. until very firm (1 hour) Continue with remaining jello and cream mixture ending with cherry jello on top. Make very certain each layer is completely firm before adding each layer. Refrigerate at least 6 hours before cutting.
