- 1 large
- head of iceberg lettuce
- 6 large
- hard boiled eggs - chopped
- 8 oz
- cremini or baby bella mushrooms - sliced
- 8 oz
- hardwood smoked bacon - chopped and fried crisp
- 1 medium
- vidalia or red onion - diced
1In a heavy bottom skillet fry chopped bacon until crisp
2While bacon is frying, Chop remaining ingredients. Layer mushrooms, onions and lettuce ending with mushrooms and onions on top. Add Chopped egg.
3Drain Bacon, let cool, and layer on top of salad. Refrigerate at least an hour before serving. Toss lightly and serve with your favorite Salad Dressing. Add freshly ground black pepper and salt to taste.
