Pineapple-Orange Congealed Salad
(15 1/4 ) can crushed pineapple(undrained)
(6 oz) package orange jello
(12 oz.) carton whipped cream, thawed. (i use cool whip)
(optional) (a few cherries for decorations on top)
1Place pineapple in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Remove form heat. Add gelatin, stirring until dissolved. Stir in buttermilk, coconut and pecans. Cool.
Fold in topping. Pour into a 13 x 9 x 2 inch dish.
Chill until firm.
