Every gathering I go to I'm asked to bring this delicious salad/dessert. People ask for this recipe all the time and are amazed at how simple it is. Always a first rate covered dish choice. It's a hit with the kids as well as the kids at heart! Can be made fairly fat-free or sugar free without losing any flavor.

This looks so delicious and festive! I bet pistachios would be great with it too. Going to try it. Thanks so much.

I grew up with my Mom making this, I made it for my Children as they grew up and now my Grands are enjoying it.

You are correct, every potluck or dinner I've taken it to most want the recipe, (the ones who don't ask for it already had it and grew up eating it too)♥
