My brother, who loves cooking as much as I do, served this recipe at one of our family get-togethers. It was an immediate hit.

Blue Ribbon Recipe

If you love grapes and fruit salad, then you need to try this grape salad. The grapes stay firm and are coated in a slightly sweet sauce. We love the combination of very sweet red grapes and slightly tart green grapes. It adds a delicious contrast in flavors. Topping with brown sugar adds almost a caramel flavor to the grape salad. A sprinkle of pecans gives the salad a nice crunch. Putting this in a 9x13 dish ensures every serving has a bit of the topping. Great for a barbecue or a spring or summer gathering.

How To Make grape salad

Test Kitchen Tips
For step 4, we ended up tossing the grapes in the cream cheese sauce and then pouring it into the bowl to ensure all the grapes were covered.
  • Cleaned grapes in a bowl.
    1
Wash grapes and allow them to dry. Remove grapes from the stems.
  • Cream cheese, sour cream, sugar, and vanilla in a bowl.
    2
Blend together the cream cheese, sour cream, sugar, and vanilla extract.
  • Grapes coated in cream cheese sauce in a baking dish.
    3
Spread the grapes in a large flat pan (9x13). Spread the cream cheese mixture over the grapes all the way to the sides.
  • Brown sugar and pecans sprinkled on top.
    4
Top with the pecans and brown sugar just before serving. Enjoy!
