Fruit Salad with Lemon Basil Syrup
The is a refreshing burst of spring flavors. Feel free to use whatever fruit you like.
Wash and cut fruit. Place in a bowl.
Zest of one lemon in to bowl of fruit
In a small saucepan add sugar and juice of two lemons.
Bring to a boil and boil til slightly thick.
Turn off heat and add basil. Steep for 5 min.
Pour lemon basil syrup over fruit salad and refrigerate until ready to eat.
