Us people with Crohn's have to find ways so that we can enjoy things we usually can't have (strawberries with seeds) & figure a way to have it. This is my take on strawberry pretzel salad without the seeds! Enjoy!

Ingredients For crohn's safe strawberry pretzel salad

2 cpretzels, crushed

2 stickbutter, melted
-
3 Tbsp+ 1 cup(s) sugar, divided

1 - 8 oz pkgcream cheese, room temperature

1 - 8 oz pkgcool whip free
-
1 - 6 oz pkgstrawberry jell-o

2 cboiling water
-
4 lg jarstrawberry jelly/jam, seedless

How To Make crohn's safe strawberry pretzel salad

1Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

2Mix crushed pretzels, butter & 3 tbsp sugar together & press into a 9" x 13" pan. Bake for 8 - 10 minutes. Let cool.

3Mix cheese & 1 cup sugar. Fold 2 cups cool whip into cheese mixture & spread over cooled pretzel crust. Dissolve strawberry gelatin in boiling water & add all jars of seedless jelly; mix well to combine. Refrigerate until syrupy, about 1/2 hour, then pour over the cheese layer & refrigerate until firm. Cut into squares & garnish with additional cool whip free. Enjoy!
