Cranberry Jello

Marsha Gardner

At our house it wouldn't be Christmas dinner without "Cranberry Jello". I still serve the canned Jelly type and I make a fresh cranberry salad, but if this would be left off the menu there would be a mutiny. So easy, so good and in our house, so Christmas.

pinch tips: How to Cut a Watermelon

1 large
can crushed pineapple, packed in juice, drained
1 can(s)
whole cranberry sauce
2 small
packages gelatin, raspberry, cran-raspberry, whatever your family likes
2 c
boiling water

Directions Step-By-Step

Drain pineapple; set aside.
Mix gelatin with 2 cups boiling water until gelatin is dissolved. Add drained crushed pineapple and whole cranberry sauce.
I kind of squish the cranberry sauce with my hand to break it up. Mix well.
Pour into gelatin mold. Let set until firm. Unmold onto a lettuce lined plate and serve. I usually make my gelatin a couple of days ahead, just to make things easier for me on the big day.
