Kim's Story

This is by far the best carrot salad I have ever had. It is a wonderful chewy and just the perfect sweet carrot salad.
I searched for this recipe that is a copykat to Chick-Fil-A's. I love all their food. Their chicken sandwiches are the best!!!

My Aunt Linda has been asking me to find this recipe for awhile now. I took her to Chick-Fil-A for her first experience of the food and she fell in love with this salad too. She wants to offer it at her restaurant she loves it so much.

4 c
fresh carrots, finely shredded
1 can(s)
(20) crushed pineapple, with juice
1 c
3/4 c
1 Tbsp
1/2 Tbsp
fresh lemon juice

Directions Step-By-Step

Chill all ingredients except sugar at least 30 minutes. Dissolve the sugar in the pineapple, then combine everything gently in a large bowl. May be refrigerated up to 72 hours. Serves 8.
NOTE: Fresh carrots are the secret, according to Chick-Fil-A.
