This is a family favorite especially during apple season in Michigan. It truly tastes like a caramel apple. I use this for a side salad with lunch or a bowl of it for potlucks. Another kid pleaser, as well.

Ingredients

  • 3 ounces dry instant butterscotch pudding mix
  • 8 ounces cool whip
  • 8 ounces crushed pineapple with juice
  • 3 cups chopped red delicious apples with peels
  • 1 cup spanish peanuts
  • 1 cup mini marshmellows

How To Make caramel apple salad

  • Step 1
    In large bowl, mix together by hand, dry pudding, cool whip, and pineapple with juice until well blended. Stir in apples, peanuts and marshmallows until thorougly combined. Refrigerate to store.
  • Step 2
    The 30 minute prep time includes the time it takes to chop the apples.
