Berry Salad w/Poppy Seed Dressing

This is a salad that you can get your kids to eat. Slightly sweet and fruity.

Ingredients

1
romaine lettuce head
1/2 small
red onion
1 pt
berries (any berries your kids love)
1/2 c
mayonnaise (have used low fat with good results)
2 Tbsp
white vinegar
1/3 c
sugar (can use artificaila sweetener, but use only 2 tablesppons
1/4 c
milk
1 1/2 Tbsp
poppy seeds

Step-By-Step

1Wash and cut Romain lettuce into bite size pieces, rinse berries and combine

2Dice the red onion finely or even grate it so the kids can't find it, but only use about 2 Tablespoons as grated onion is extremely strong because of the juices released. Combine with the lettuce and berries

3Combine all the other ingredients and mix well. Pour over salad and serve
