Church Worthy Chicken Salad

This chicken salad is always requested at the church lunches and everyone always takes some home - that is if there is any left-over!

Ingredients

4-5 lb
chicken
2 c
celery, chopped
3/4-1 c
mayonnaise
1 tsp
mustard
1/4 c
pickle relish
2 Tbsp
onion, minced
1 large
apple, chopped
1/4 c
slivered almonds, toasted
1/2 c
red seedless grapes, halved
1/2 tsp
celery seed
1 Tbsp
lemon juice
1/2 tsp
salt
1/8 tsp
pepper

Directions

Boil chicken; then bone and chop. You may also use a store bought rotessire chicken to cut down on time. Combine the chicken and celery. Combine remaining ingredients, stirring well. Add ingredients to chicken mixture and toss well. Cover and chill.
