A basic recipe for Salisbury steak. Also great for grilling.

Ingredients

1 lb. hamburger
1 pkg. onion soup mix
1/4 C. green peppers, minced
1/4 C. bread crumbs
1/4 C. milk
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 can mushroom soup

Step-By-Step

1Thoroughly mix beef, 1/4 of soup mix, pepper, crumbs, milk and egg.

Shape into 4 patties.

Brown on both sides and drain off fat.

Simmer over low heat with rest of ingredients for 20 minutes.
