1 (15-ounce) can of pumpkin or 2 cups fresh pureed pumpkin
2 large eggs, lightly beaten

1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2/3 cup apple cider
2 tablespoons heavy cream
1 tablespoon butter
