Well, in just a few hours it will be March 17th and so Happy St. Patrick's Day to you and yours.
I thought I would share my Shamrock Tree with you all. I sure have had fun collecting ornaments over the last three years to finally have a fully decorated tree. The smallest shamrock which are made of felt were what I started out with and went from there. I hope you like my St. Patty's Day tree decorated in it's festive green and gold attire.

Ingredients

1 medium
white tree
plenty of festive irish/st. patrick's day ornaments
black cloth for bottom and green netting
garland
white or green lights
kids to help decorate

Directions Step-By-Step

So, finally took some pics of my St. Patty's Day tree. I have been collecting ornaments for 3 years now. Each year after St. Patty's day is over I go to the craft stores and buy the ornaments for 50% to 75% percent off. I started out with just the felt shamrocks that you buy for crafts and my sister (Linda) and my nephew Noah helped me decorate them. It was real simple but cute. Now those are still my favorite ornaments especially the ones that Noah did cause the Shamrock's eyes are all crooked. LOL...they are just too cute.

I wish we could post vertical pictures and not just horizontal pics. So, couldn't get the whole tree in like I would like to.

Here is a close up of some of the ornaments on the tree.

Sandra, thanks so much. It sounds like you love decorating your tree as much as I do. Although I fizzle out after the 4th of July. I have the patriotic tree and then no more decorating till December. LOL

Melanie, above sent me the most beautiful ornament for my St. Patrick's tree from Ireland from when she visited over. I look forward to placing on my tree for St. Patty's next year. I just love it!

Sandra, I just knew you were from PA!! LOL I lived in Reading for 2 years (about 18 years ago) and never saw peple decorate so much for every holiday. It was pretty neat. I love your tree themes. I have a tradtion of getting a bird nest or bird house each year for my Christmas tree. The topper isn't an angel or star, it's a large bird nest.
