Sarah's Notes:

You can use this recipe for dryer sheets as well. Just soak scrap pieces of fabric in the fabric softener and throw into the dryer.

Directions

1
Mix hot water and conditioner.
2
Add the vinegar and mix well.
3
Store in an empty fabric softener container.

The vinegar absorbs odors and helps clean very well. I have a recipe I use as most of my family is allergic to store bought stuff!

It's the best way to use fabric softener. WAY cheaper than store bought plus you get to pick your scent.

Amen Sarah! The store bought fabric softener (dryer sheets) makes your clothes and towels non absorbent too. I hate that!

I use plain vinegar, no need for anything else. I put about 1/2 a cup in my old downy ball - no need to stand around waiting for the rinse cyle, works like a charm :)
