Slow-Cooker/Crock Pot

This little mixture will make your home smell delish for the Christmas season!

pinch tips: Perfect Bacon Everytime


3 c
cinnamon sticks
3 or 4
whole cloves
whole allspice or 1 1/2 tsp. ground
1 tsp
grated/ground nutmeg

Directions Step-By-Step

Combine everything in a small crock-pot. Turn on high for an hour, then reduce heat to lowest setting and simmer uncovered for hours.

You can add a bit more water as needed. (Do not drink)
If you only have a very large crock-pot you can either double the recipe or the mixture can be simmered in a saucepan on the stove, but it will need to be watched more closely.

I do something similar to this. I cut up a apple to two, the cores are enough after you eat them. Add a teaspoon of cinnamon, or pumpkin spice which has all the goodies in it and a few whole cloves if you have them. They tend to lose umph sitting around the house (I don't go through them fast enough). I use a old pot on the stove and fill it with the goodies and put on medium high to get it going and then reduce it to lowest setting once it is steaming. Last all day and you can just add some water though out the day. I have even restarted it the next day and got another whole day out of it. Wonderful Ideas!
