1Combine everything in a small crock-pot. Turn on high for an hour, then reduce heat to lowest setting and simmer uncovered for hours.
You can add a bit more water as needed. (Do not drink)
2If you only have a very large crock-pot you can either double the recipe or the mixture can be simmered in a saucepan on the stove, but it will need to be watched more closely.
