Diann's Notes:

These are so cute and light weight and easy to make!

Directions

1
cut a circle on your foam board, use a box cutter if possible! make sure to cut the hole in the center too!
2
take your coffee filters and fold in half, long way, then take one side and fold it over to the other corner, it will look like a "V" bend the ends and glue onto the foam board. I used 2 side by side each row.
3
decorate it once all your filters are on. spray with glitter if you'd like. make these in any shape you'd like! I use food coloring spray from Wal-Mart (its for cupcakes!) but i used it on my filters and it looks beautiful! making them for Valentines day too! Have fun! (oh yes I buy the coffee filters from the dollar tree!)

I'm pinching this! I saw this idea on Martha Stewart's site. Hers was a hanging wreath and it looked more time-consuming. Also, the wreath structure to hold the filters cost more. Thanks for sharing!!

Tank you. I am going to try this. My granddaughter likes to come over and do crafts with me, so it will be a fun project.

so glad you like it! she will have a blast! she can even paint it with water colors afterwards, very little on the tips and just touch here and there and she can have a tie dye wreath! The next one I'm doing is soaking my filters in coffee, take a few and roll them up and tie it in place and let it dry for a few days or more and use it as a flower on my coffee colored wreath, this summer I am going to see if my hubby can cut me out a coffee mug shape and I'll use this concept on that and hang it in my kitchen, yes I love coffee lol :)
