Carol's Notes:

Ok I finished my baby blanket, haven't crocheted in along time so this is a great that I was able to do this again now that I have arthritis in the fingers in my right hand. Phew ~

Directions

1
I used one large skein of white and 1 skein of baby green and 1 skein of baby pink yarn.

Also this pattern came with directions for a teddy bear which I haven't attempted yet but may and if I do I will post it with the directions.

I just put the edge on the top and bottom of the afghan and put four rows of stripped pattern every 20 rows, sorta made it my own I guess. haha
5
Just wanted to show a few other afghans I made many moons ago, can't even tell you how many afghans I have made and given away as gifts for weddings and showers.
Just haven't done any for quite a few years now !

Don't forget you can make stuffed animals as well for baby gifts ! Made these for my girls when they were little ~ don't have directions now but if you go to Red Heart free crochet patterns then put in search stuffed animals you can download the directions.

Oh Carol it is just dreamy ! I love it, I have always loved the feel and look of crocheted blankets. I have one of my grandmothers that I treasure. How long did this take you, it really is gorgeous, what a labor of love !
