I just put the edge on the top and bottom of the afghan and put four rows of stripped pattern every 20 rows, sorta made it my own I guess. haha
5
Just wanted to show a few other afghans I made many moons ago, can't even tell you how many afghans I have made and given away as gifts for weddings and showers.
Just haven't done any for quite a few years now !
6
Don't forget you can make stuffed animals as well for baby gifts ! Made these for my girls when they were little ~ don't have directions now but if you go to Red Heart free crochet patterns then put in search stuffed animals you can download the directions.

Carol, That's really pretty! I have been working slowly on some projects but this past Christmas I made about 22 scarves and hats for family and friends for gifts. That was a very busy Nov. and Dec.!
They all said they loved them. I really like to crochet and paint...
