Crochet Baby Blanket from Redheart
By Carol Junkins CarolAJ
Ok I finished my baby blanket, haven't crocheted in along time so this is a great that I was able to do this again now that I have arthritis in the fingers in my right hand. Phew ~
Also this pattern came with directions for a teddy bear which I haven't attempted yet but may and if I do I will post it with the directions.
Row 1 ~ (Right Side) Sc in 3rd chain from hook, dc in nest ch. * sc in next ch: rep from * across; turn = 99 sts.
Rows 2-90 Ch 2 (counts as a dc), skip first dc, sc in next sc. *dc in next dc, sc in next sc rep from * to last st; dc in top of ch 2 turn. At end of last row, do not fasten off but sc evenly around entire blanket working 3 sc in each corner join with a sl st to first sc of the round. Fasten off.
Just haven't done any for quite a few years now !

Oh Carol it is just dreamy ! I love it, I have always loved the feel and look of crocheted blankets. I have one of my grandmothers that I treasure. How long did this take you, it really is gorgeous, what a labor of love !
