Ingredients

1 c	all purpose white flour
1 c	whole wheat flour
1/2 c	oat bran or wheat germ
1/2 c	powdered milk
1/2 tsp	salt
1 tsp	brown sugar
6 Tbsp	lard or butter or shortening
1	egg
1/2 c	water or beef broth or chicken broth
1 Tbsp	dried vegetable flakes

My kids and dog use to fight over them. just as healthy for the kids as well as the dog.

Directions

Combine all ingredients. Mix well. Roll out on floured surface to 1/2-inch thickness. Cut out with cookie cutter or roll dough into a cylinder and slice. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until lightly browned and very firm. Keep in airtight container. Your dog will love them.
