I'm a candleholic. Always looking for new ideas for myself and to make for others as gifts. This is a must make.

Basketballs melt?? Geez, that's a true pyro! As for the pics, I just scan them into the computer with the printer, save them into my pictures area, and upload them into JAP.

We don't have those 2 stories in my area. And the dollars stores, tho cheapest, don't have much of a variety and only carry clear glass ones. So I have tried a few things to make the clear glass candle holders looks different. I have taped thin scrapbook paper around some for Christmas that have holly leaves and berries on them or green, red and gold stripes on them. If the paper is thin then the light comes through the paper better. But I like the idea of colored glass votive holders. I'll have to find some. I know what your husband means. My son says the same thing about me. He is a pyro himself but not into candles...lol. He likes to melt things in our grill. Last summer we found out that deflated basketballs melt and it's fun to watch. :)

Since I'm new here and haven't seen much on the site yet. I see many pictures that people post with their dinner dishes or like the candle you have above here. How do you post a picture on here? I would like to show you one of my ideas for this candle tip you posted when I'm done with it. What your input. Thanks!

I love candles, too, Michelle. I'm sure my husband thinks I'm a latent pyro! But I love the ambiance and the aroma. The dollar stores, and some craft stores carry inexpensive votive holders. I've gotten them at Michael's and Joann's. They even come in different colors.

I have many tea lights and a larger holder but have to get a votive candle holder. I think the Dollar Tree store sells them. If they do at $1 each I'm going to get several of them. I light candles at home almost every night on the coffee table and kitchen for the aroma and just the look. I love finding new ways to display them. And if I find a setup I really like I make one for a gift for a friend. My aunt has 6 of them from me now.

Food coloring dyes do have a few tips on making other colors. I use those when we dye Easter eggs. Good idea to use with this.
