½ cup lower-sodium beef broth
½ cup pitted olives
1 teaspoon finely shredded lemon peel
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
¼ cup cold water
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
Fresh Italian (flat-leaf) parsley (optional)
