I found this recipe in one of the Gifts-in-a-Jar recipe books (Soups). And it was REALLY good! Great for giving away when you hand out leftover Thanksgiving turkey.

Ingredients For turkey noodle soup
- SOUP MIX:

3 Tbspchicken bouillon granules

1 tsppepper
-
1/2 tspdried whole thyme

1/4 tspcelery seeds
-
1/4 tspgarlic powder
-
1 - 2bay leaves
-
4 ctri-colored spiral pasta
- ADDITIONAL INGREDIENTS:

2carrots, diced
-
2stalks of celery, diced
-
1/4 conion, minced
-
3 cturkey, cooked and diced
How To Make turkey noodle soup

1***Note – This is a Gifts in a Jar Recipe, so the mix can be made ahead of time and given as a gift, with a tag attached explaining the rest of the process.

2To prepare the mix: Layer the mix ingredients in the order given into a wide-mouth 1 quart canning jar. Set the bay leaf against the side of the jar before filling with noodles. Attach a gift tag with the cooking directions.

3To prepare the soup: Place the mix in a large soup pot. Add 12 cups of water. Add the carrots, celery and onion and bring to a boil. Cover, lower heat and simmer for 15 minutes. Discard the bay leaf. Stir in the turkey and simmer an additional 5 minutes.
