This is a traditional delicacy full of rich Mexican flavor - the fajitas burrito. Before rolling in the fillings, a layer of grated cheese is sprinkled on the crust. The hot crust can quickly melt the cheese. You can feel the full-bodied taste with one bite, making it an endless aftertaste. It is an ideal choice for family dinners or parties to share.

Ingredients For fajitas

  • 500 g
    rustic flour, plus a little more
  • 1
    salt
  • 1
    baking powder
  • 100 g
    olive oil, divided
  • 250 g
    hot water
  • 1
    fresh chilli, seeded
  • 150 g
    onions, halved
  • 1
    garlic clove
  • 400 g
    red peppers, cut into strips
  • 400 g
    tomatoes, diced
  • 4 tsp
    paprika powder
  • 2 pinch
    salt, to taste
  • 2 pinch
    ground pepper, to taste
  • 4
    chicken fillets, cut into chunks
  • 8
    wheat tortillas
  • 100 g
    grated cheese

How To Make fajitas

    Place flour, salt, baking powder into mixing bowl.

    Mix 10 sec/speed 3.

    Place 80 g olive oil and the hot water into mixing bowl.

    Dough 2 min/speed 4.5.

    Transfer the dough to a floured working surface and shape into a ball. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap or put it in a large bowl and cover with a kitchen towel. Let rest at room temperature for 15 minutes.

    Divide the dough into about 8 pieces and roll out each piece into a round pie (about Ø 25 cm), sprinkling with flour if the dough is sticky.

    Place a large frying pan (Ø 26 cm) over medium-high heat. Put 1 tortilla in the pan and fry for about 1 minute or until the surface of the tortilla begins to burst blisters and begins to brown. Flip the tortilla over and fry for another 30 seconds-1 minute. Transfer to a food thermos or large plate and cover to keep warm. Repeat the process with the remaining tortillas. Serve hot.

    Place chili, onions and garlic into mixing bowl.

    Chop 5 sec/speed 5. Scrape down the sides of the bowl with the spatula.

    Place peppers and remaining olive oil into mixing bowl.

    place tomatoes, paprika,1 pinch of salt and 1 pinch of pepper into mixing bowl.

    Insert the cooking basket, place the chicken fillets, add 1 pinch of salt and 1 pinch of pepper into mixing bowl.

    Steam for 15 min/115℃/rspeed 0.5. Remove the cooking basket and transfer the chicken into mixing bowl.

    Simmer for 5 min/100°C/rspeed 0.5. Heat the patties, preferably in the microwave, for the time indicated on the package so that they soften. Then top them with grated cheese and chicken mixture, then roll them into a cigar. Serve immediately.
