Ingredients For bahamian skillet jerk shrimp

1/4 clight rum

1/4 cchopped tomatoes

1 Tbspgreen pepper, chopped

1 Tbspred onion, chopped

2 tspgarlic, roughly chopped

2 tspserrano chili pepper, finely diced

1 Tbspgreen onion, chopped

1/2 Tbspfresh thyme, chopped

1 tspyour favorite jamaican jerk spice

1 Tbspfresh cilantro, chopped

12jumbo raw shrimp, peeled, deveined, tails on

4 Tbspbutter, melted

8fresh thyme sprigs
How To Make bahamian skillet jerk shrimp

1Preheat oven to 500ºF.

2Place rum, all ingredients up to cilantro in a cast iron skillet. then add the shrimp.

3Pour the melted butter over the top of the shrimp and top with thyme sprigs.

4Place cast iron skillet of shrimp on the middle rack of the oven. Bake 5 - 7 minutes or until shrimp is done. Remove shrimp from oven and serve at once.
