A grilled cheese is a grilled cheese, right? I mean, it's the first meal that most of us learn how to cook at home by ourselves. It's the perfect midnight snack or soup-dipper. It's great for kids but is never turned down by an adult. It's salty, gooey, crisp, buttery, and comforting in all the right ways.

Ingredients

fresh arugula leaves

fresh basil leaves
8 slice
tomato, thinly sliced
4 slice
provolone cheese
4 slice
italian bread
2 Tbsp
prepared italian salad dressing

Step-By-Step

1Layer the arugula, basil, tomato and cheese on two slices of bread. Top with remaining two slices of bread.
2Brush outer sides of bread with salad dressing.
3Grill, uncovered, over medium heat for 3 to 4 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
