I call this Toni's BBQ pork because I got it from my friend, Toni. It's so easy and it's delicious! It's great as a pork roast for a main course or making BBQ pork sandwiches...it works really well as sandwiches if you're having a lot of people or taking potluck.

pork loin, boneless (3 lb to 5+ lb)
1 bottle
sweet baby ray's barbecue sauce (small)
1 can(s)
cherry pie filling or apple pie filling
1
onion

Directions Step-By-Step

1
Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
2
Peel onion and cut in half.
3
Place roast in roasting pan. Put onion on top of roast. Pour BBQ sauce and pie filling over the roast/onion. Place in oven for 3 hours.

I have used a slow cooker for this and it works great cooked that way, too.
5
Serve with roasted redskin potatoes and vegetable and/or salad. Even the young kids loved it!
