THIS IS MY AUNT SUES RECIPE AND HOW GLAD I AM THAT SHE SHARED IT. IT IS A SWEET DISH BUT IF YOU LIKE YOU COULD CUT BACK ON THE BROWN SUGAR OR ADD A TOUCH MORE VINEGAR.

pineapples w/juice

START WITH PORK OF YOUR CHOICE: IF YOU CHOOSE TO USE PORK STEAKS YOU WILL NEED TO CUT THEM INTO BITE SIZE PIECES.YOU CAN ALSO ADD THE BONES AS THEY WILL ADD FLAVOR.ADD ALL TO POT.

IF YOU CHOOSE TO USE RIBS MIGHT I SUGGEST COUNTRY STYLE PORK RIBS AS THEY WILL BE EASIER TO CUT INTO PIECES. ADD ALL TO POT.

AFTER ALL MEAT HAS BEEN ADDED TO THE POT YOU CAN ADD ALL THE REMAINING INGREDIENTS TO THE POT,MAKE SURE ALL MEAT IS COVERED WITH THE LIQUID, STIR TO GET IT ALL MIXED. COOK ON MED HEAT TILL IT COMES TO A BOIL, LET IT BOIL FOR ABOUT 20-30 MINS(LID HALF ON OTHER WISE IT COULD BOIL OVER)AT THIS TIME YOU CAN REDUCE THE HEAT TO SIMMER OR LOW BOIL.
ALSO YOU WILL WANT TO TASTE TO SEE IF ITS TO YOUR LIKING. (NOT TOO SWEET OR NOT TOO SOUR)
IF YOU THINK IT NEEDS MORE SWEET ADD SOME BROWN SUGAR. (SMALL AMOUNTS AT A TIME)
IF YOU THINK IT NEEDS MORE SOUR ADD VINEGAR. (SMALL AMOUNTS AT A TIME)
ALSO YOU CAN ADJUST THE SOY SAUCE AND WATER.
IF IT IS TO YOUR LIKING COVER COMPLETELY WITH LID AND LET IT COOK TILL DONE. (FORK TENDER OR WHEN MEAT IS STARTING TO PULL AWAY FROM BONE)
