Ingredients
| 4 lb | pork shoulder - boneless, trimmed find more delicious recipes at www.porkbeinspired.com

| 2 lg | onions - sliced |
| 2 lg | cloves garlic - chopped |
| 1/2 tsp | liquid smoke flavoring |
| 1 c | ginger ale soda |
| 1 - 18 oz | bottle of sweet baby ray's barbecue sauce |

Directions
Place half of the sliced onions and all the garlic, on the bottom of the crockpot.Season the pork on all sides with salt and pepper. Place it ontop of the onions in the crockpot.Add the other half of the sliced onions ontop of the pork.Mix the ginger ale and liquid smoke together and pour over the pork. Cover and cook on high for 3 hours. Then turn the pork over and cook on high for another 3 hours.Then remove pork and drain off all the liquid from the crockpot, leaving the onions. Shred the pork and remove all the lumps of fat from the meat.Return the shredded pork to the crockpot with the onions. Stir in 18 ozs. of barbecue sauce. Cook on high for 1 - 2 more hours.Serve warm on kaiser rolls.This pulled pork freezes very well and this recipe easily doubles!

baby rays is my go to sauce!!! There is one I like a lil better made locally here, but hard to find and cost a fortune to order it, because of shipping.
This recipe sounds sooooooo yummy Lillian! Love pulled pork!!! I love the ginger ale aspect of it. When my brother makes pulled pork he uses 7 up or sprite. But I think the ginger ale would give it just a little bit of yum factor. Thanks Lillian!
