Debra's notes for this recipe:
I have made many slow cooker B.Q. sandwhiches. To me the sauce always seemed to be too much.Like it took the taste of the meat away. In this recipe you can taste the meat. The boiling makes it a smoother taste and the brown sugar thickens it; but not too thick.Every taste is evened out!

1. Combine barbecue sauce, ketchup, water , vinegar , garlic salt and pepper in slow cooker. Add pork; turn to coat with sauce.

2. Cook covered on low for 7 to 8 hours. Remove pork. When cool enough to handle shred meat. Discarding the fat. Place pork in a shallow casserole dish.

3. Skim fat from sauce in slow cooker. Carefully pour sauce into a pot. Add brown sugar and salt. Bring to a boil over high heat. Boil for ten minutes. Pour over meat and mix well. Put on a bun and enjoy!
