"Slop" (a yummy pork chop recipe)

Michelle Morris

This is a recipe that my Grandmother always referred to simply as slop, but don't let the name fool you. It is a simple and delicious comfort food!!

pork chops (with or without the bone you pick)
1 can(s)
cut green beans
1 can(s)
yellow wax beans
1 12oz pkg
frozen sliced carrots
1 can(s)
cream of mushroom soup
1/2 can(s)
milk (using the soup can for measurement)

1Preheat oven for 350 degrees
Season your pork chops with a bit of salt and pepper then pan sear them in a bit of butter in a frying pan for 3-4 minutes per side.
2Place pork chops in a baking dish, then add the two types of beans and carrots on top of that.
3Mix your soup with the milk and pour this on top of everything in your baking dish.
4Cover the pan and bake for 30 minutes. This is good served with your favorite mashed potatoes or with noodles or rice if you can't do potatoes.
