I made this and it was a big hit! I put about a bottle and a half of barbecue sauce in the crock pot with the whole package of ribs cut up(was about 5 lbs of ribs) and put it on low for 6 hours and it was just falling of the bone and delicious...the only thing I did differently was put the other half of the bottle of sauce on the ribs after I put them on the platter. My son, who doesn't really eat any meat off the bone or with fat, even loved them(after he removed the bone and fat lol). Thank you for making my first crock pot experience and big hit :o).

I'm sure by now you've already cooked your ribs since they were thawed out. I'm sure you could cook them on medium, but I like to cook them on low and slow. They just taste better in my opinion.

Sorry but I am totally new to crockpot(never used one in my life) cooking but since I have ribs thawed to cook and the element in my oven burned out last night I thought today would be a good day to try the crockpot. How long do you cook them on low? What if I cooked them on maybe medium? Thank you :o)
