Hi Ululani :-) I was wondering what cut of pork you're using for this dish? Do you think pork tenderloin would be ok? Also, it sounds soo good and hubby would love it but my kids dont like peas. Have you ever tried making it without the peas?

HI HELENE:) I PREFER USING PORK BUTT. IT'S TOTALLY UP TO YOU WHAT YOU WANT TO USE. I NEVER TRIED IT WITHOUT PEAS. IT IS ACTUALLY AN DISH USED WITH PEAS. THANK YOU THOUGH!!

Aloha Ululani! I love Pork Guisantes and it is a fav dish of my husband, who is a 1/4 Filipino (he says the last name: Dapitan!) I make this too, using pork butt and my husband does the pork cutting. I love using the Birds Eye Baby Peas, they are good. So ono over hot rice too! My tip: I add a small bit of sugar to cut the acid taste out of the tomato sauce. What a wimp huh? We reside in Kailua, Oahu! Thanks for your recipe!
