Our Christmas Ham
We prefer just the taste of the hams.
My mother use to use sugars, cloves , 7up...and I hated her hams.
I learned to cook my ham this way from an old Estonia woman.

- cook ham, farmer john or your favorite
- 2 c
- water, as needed
1If you are lucky they will have left some of the skin on the ham. Score the brown skin. The skin will pull away and become crispy..it's great to just eat like that.
2Add the 2 cups of water and the ham to your roasting pan.
3Bake at 350*. When it is almost done add enough potatoes for however many people you have. Cook potatoes until done...serve with the ham.
Don't throw out the juice of the ham...save it for making bean soup or other things. It's delicious. I have even use the ham juices when making bread.
