Ingredients For margaret's double pork burgers

  • 8 slice
    bacon
  • 3 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 1 lb
    lean ground pork (not sausage)
  • salt & pepper, to taste
  • 1/8 tsp
    sage, dried
  • pepper
  • 4
    potato buns, split
  • butter, unsalted, room temperature
  • GARNISH:
  • onion

How To Make margaret's double pork burgers

    In food processor, add bacon, garlic; pulse until coarsely ground.
  • 2
    Combine the pork, 1 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp pepper & sage in large bowl. Add bacon mixture & gently mix with hands. Form 4 balls, then press into 4" wide, 1" thick patties.

    Preheat grill to medium high. Season with pepper. Grill 5 - 6 minutes. Flip & grill another 4 - 6 minutes.

    Spread the cut sides of buns with unsalted butter & toast on grill.

    Serve the patties on bun with a slice of onion.
