- ginger ale
- 1 large
- roasting pan
1For 12 to 20 lb. ham. Scrub and soak for 24 hrs in cold water.
2Remove tough fat skin. Place in roaster with water and ginger ale. Cover.
3Place in cold oven. Heat to 400 degrees and hold for 20 minutes. Turn oven off.
Wait 4 hours, reheat oven to 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Turn off oven and leave over night.
DO NOT OPEN OVEN THE ENTIRE TIME.
