Easy Sweet and Sour Pork Chops

Kathie's Story

A simple recipe I learned from a friend in California several years ago.

Serve with rice or fried rice.

Ingredients

thick pork chops

1/4 c
soy sauce
1/4 c
chili sauce
1/4 c
honey
1 Tbsp
sesame seeds

Directions Step-By-Step

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Mix soy, chili sauce, and honey. Place pork chops in a greased casserole. Pour sauce over all.

Cover and bake for 45 minutes. Remove cover and continue baking for 15 minutes more.

Serve over rice or fried rice.

OPTIONAL: When you uncover dish you may add 1/2 cup sliced green bell pepper and 1/2 cup drained canned pineapple chunks. Continue baking as above.

    What temperature do you use to cook them? I didn't see it anywhere in the recipe. Sounds delicious, and I'd love to try it!

    Thanks for pointing this out Robin. I have edited the recipe and the correct temperature of 350 degrees will show up in a day or two on it. My family loves this recipe and I hope you like it too.

    I assume the sesame seeds are to be mixed in with the other items, recipe doesn't say what to do with them.
